Who owns the copyright to the images and videos from the session?
As is standard in commercial media production, the studio retains full legal copyright over all produced media assets. Depending on your project type, you are granted an exclusive personal usage license (for private portfolios) or a clearly defined commercial usage license (for brand promotional assets). Under no circumstances are raw, unedited master files released.
How secure are my private images and data?
We take data privacy incredibly seriously. Your personal information and raw session media are processed and stored on secure, offline local server hardware. To guarantee absolute confidentiality, all client media vaults are fully and permanently purged from our local infrastructure 14 days after final project delivery.
Why do you require my Date of Birth on the booking form?
Due to the private and specialized nature of our editorial and creative portraiture, we operate under strict legal compliance. All clients must be verified legal adults (18+). You will be required to present a valid, government-issued photo ID upon arrival at the studio to verify that your details match your booking form.
What exactly is the “1 complimentary hour” used for?
This buffer is entirely dedicated to off-camera preparation. It gives us a relaxed, unhurried block of time for studio walkthroughs, lighting adjustments, outfit changes, or make-up touch-ups. Your paid production hours only count when active camera work or videography begins.
Can I bring a drink to help me relax during the shoot?
Light, responsible consumption of alcohol by adult clients (18+) is permitted at our discretion to help you feel comfortable on set. However, strict moderation is mandatory. We maintain a zero-tolerance policy for impairment that compromises safety or professional conduct, and sessions will be immediately terminated without a refund if boundaries are crossed.
Am I allowed to bring a guest or chaperone to my session?
Absolutely. Your comfort and safety are paramount. Clients are welcome to bring one trusted guest or chaperone to the studio. To maintain a productive and safe creative space, all guests are expected to adhere to standard studio conduct rules.
What happens if I show up late to my session?
Your booked session time is fixed because weekend slots are tightly scheduled. If you run late, that time is unfortunately deducted from your creative production hours. However, your complimentary 1-hour preparation buffer is designed to absorb minor delays so we can still protect your actual camera time.
What happens if I need to cancel or change my booking duration?
Because weekend slots are highly limited and exclusively reserved for you, the retainer is strictly non-refundable upon cancellation. If you book a multi-hour session but choose to reduce the duration on the day of the shoot, you remain responsible for the full balance of the hours originally requested.
Do you require a deposit to lock in a date?
Yes. A £100 non-refundable retainer is required to secure any weekend booking. However, this isn’t an extra fee—the full £100 is credited directly toward your production balance, completely covering your first hour of creative time on set.
